Coconut confetti sprinkles allow you to add color and flavor to your keto mug cake recipes. If you need a low-carb birthday cake or other celebratory dessert, these colored coconut shreds are an excellent option.

These confetti sprinkles are used in the Funfetti mug cake. Since they are a great sugar-free alternative to sprinkles, I think a dedicated blog post is helpful, as well.

You can use these colorful coconut shreds in other recipes or even as toppings to keto ice cream or yogurt. If you like them, keep a jar of coconut shreds on hand, so they are ready to go when you need them.

Keto Friendly Sprinkles

Sometimes cake is about a lot more than flavor. Cake is a way to celebrate and mark a happy occasion. Sprinkles are often a staple in such happy recipes.

To keep a low-carb diet sustainable, it's smart to find alternatives to the sugary goods we love. If you miss sprinkles on the keto diet, give these colored coconut shreds a try.

Of course, these coconut shreds are far from the sugary chunks that make up traditional sprinkles. Personally, the longer I avoid sugar, the more accepting my taste buds get towards sweet substitutions.

I didn't even like coconut before I started a ketogenic diet. It's amazing how my palate has changed and even unsweetened coconut now tastes relatively sweet to me.
