Low-Carb Apple Mug Cake

Here’s a low-carb apple mug cake recipe so you don’t feel left out once all those fall apple goodies start popping up everywhere. Similar to pumpkin, apple baked goods are another autumn staple that don’t have to be completely taboo if you’re watching your carbs.

Although apples are far from keto friendly, there are only two tablespoons in this recipe. At 10.7 net carbs, it’s possible to “fit” this tasty treat into your macros for the day.

Apple Cinnamon Cake in a Mug

There seems to be a great debate about the best fall desserts. Are you team pumpkin or team apple? Personally, I’d go for either, but find pumpkin more tempting. Since I know how wrecked I feel after traditional sugary treats, I’ll happily enjoy a pumpkin mug cake.

Not to discriminate whatsoever, this apple mug cake is also on my low-carb dessert roster. That little bit of granny smith apple packs a huge flavor! The tiny cake is filling, flavorful, and really hits the spot when you’re missing the flavors of the season.
